Seasons Greetings 2003!
Month/year:- late 2003
Comments:- Bah humbug! I normally leave my Christmas card designs 'till last minute, but I found an anime style Christmas contest and decided I'd start early so I could enter it^^ (I love contests XD).
I lost, but I'm not fluffed 'cause it was really fun to draw! I used a slightly different method to usual for colouring and it was much faster and more interesting to do.

And lo! Outlines drawn in Adobe Illustrator!! I haven't done that in a long time - mainly because it takes a long time and is very boring in my opinion. I'm glad I did though, Illustrator lines look so much neater ^_^
The background was a rushed, last minute affair; I'd left it right to the very day of the deadline to complete! Despite it's quick and laziness, I'm happy enough to leave it as-is. Infact I quite like the softness of it, lol.
I'm thinking of doing a limited print run of these to sell as Christmas cards in the shop section of my site, though I'm still unsure. I don't have a lot of money to spare right now since it's time for me to start buying everyone's Christmas presents. Well, if I do decide to print some I'll probably use the original version here:-

Reindeer girl

But I used this 2nd version (below) in the contest I mentioned earlier. For some stupid reason I felt the need to clutter the picture up with the tacky looking little snow fairy and the corny 'Happy Holidays' lettering. I had to crop it down a little too in order to meet the contest requirements. I prefer the original.
