title! nm. This is the first 'person' I drew since I got my graphics tablet.
I quite like the shadows on his cloak^^ I feel a bit guilty though 'cause I
cheated with the background by tracing the lines from a photograph. I found
a clever trick with the grass: 1st paint a gradiented lump in the shape of the
field, then use the "add noise" filter to make it dotty. After that,
there's a natural brush in photoshop that looks all gritty, if you double click
it and then take the spacing really high, then run it along over the grass using
different opacities and shades it looks quite good! Then finish up at the front
by using the smudge too to add some more defined blades o' grass. Viola!
